Manos a la obra / Let's get down to work (XXII) - Kim Jung Gi

"El verano pasado, con mi familia / Last Summer, With My Family"
Bolígrafo Hi-Tech-C y lápiz de color sobre papel / Hi-Tech-C pen and color pencil on paper

"Después del viaje a Malasia / After Penang in Malaysia Trip"

Kim Jung Gi is an incredible Korean artist with extraordinary graphic skills and a unique style. His drawings are amazing for the level of detail, the number of characters, elements and mechanical devices incorporating, by the prospect and, above all, because it works without models and in a completely chaotic way, going from side to side on paper, interrupting the drawing to randomly jump to another work area with no apparent order.

"Después de Penang en mi viaje a Malasia / After Penang in Malaysia Trip"
Bolígrafo High-Tech-C sobre papel / High-Tech-C pen on paper

With these assumptions, it is clear that, even if their drawings themselves are excellent, the most interesting is to see it in action. Fortunately we have some videos available.
He has published two volumes with his work: "2007 Sketch Collection" and "2011 Sketch Collection", this one with a limited special edition in which each of the 80 books has a different cover.

This video has over 70.000 visits until now, and is easy to understand why. One of the viewer's (Sootoo1000) comments is clear:

"To be able to draw such a detailed scenario on a Din A3 paper would be already incredible, but to draw something like this, with all these crazy perspectives and variety of characters, on a fucking wall, and without even having to sketch it first, this is just INSANE!!!!"
