Hakuchi
Shohei Otomo "Hakuchi", es un artista japonés que dibuja con bolígrafos de tinta, combinando lo tradicional con lo moderno, en un estilo potente y dinámico, con temáticas intensas y exclusivamente en negro y rojo.
Shohei es hijo de Katsuhiro Otomo, el creador y director de "Akira".
En una de sus escasas entrevistas en inglés, Shohei cita como significativas las influencias cinemáticas de las películas de samurais (como la famosa "Los Siete Samurai" de Kurosawa) y el spaghetti western. Ciertamente, sus personajes tienen el atractivo inmediato y visceral de la imagen en movimiento.

Shohei Otomo is a Japanese artist who draws with ball point pen, merging traditional with modern in a powerful and dynamic style, with intense thematic and exclusively in black and red.
He is the son of Katsuhiro Otomo who Created & Directed the Manga "Akira".
In a rare interview in English, SHOHEI cites the cinematic influences of samurai movies -such as Kurosawa’s renowned Seven Samurai -and spaghetti Westerns, as significant. Certainly his characters have the immediate and visceral appeal of the moving image.

Marta Penter

Marta Penter nació en Porto Alegre en 1957. Desde muy temprano se vinculó al mundo de las artes, habiendo asistido a varias escuelas y centros de arte. Actualmente se dedica a la pintura en acuarela y óleo sobre lienzo. Con un lenguaje realista contemporáneo explora el tema del inconsciente colectivo a través de imágenes de objetos antiguos de uso personal y de la figura humana, en relación con el tiempo y el espacio. Iconos que surgen de la fuerte influencia de su formación en psicología, que adquieren fuerza y expresión en su obra. Sus pinturas, generalmente en tamaños grandes, se caracterizan por el valor de los efectos de luz y sombra que crean un ambiente íntimo típico. En esta nueva etapa, la artista ha estado investigando una nueva mirada sobre el hombre y su mundo, el rescate de la sensación de intimidad e inmediatez perdidos en un mundo globalizado.

Marta Penter was born in Porto Alegre in 1957. Since very early she joined the world of arts, having attended to several schools and art centers. Today is dedicated to painting in watercolor and oil on canvas. With a contemporary realistic language explores the theme of the collective unconscious through images of old personal objects and the human figure, in relation to time and space. Icons arising from the strong influence of her training in psychology, which gain strength and expression in her work. Her paintings, usually in large sizes, are characterized by the value of the effects of light and shadow create a typical intimate atmosphere. In this new stage, the artist has been investigating a new look at the man and his world, rescuing the feeling of intimacy and immediacy lost in a globalized world.

«Siempre he querido que mis obras resulten interesantes de alguna manera, con su propio clima. Intento hacer algo un poco diferente de lo que realmente se ve en 3D. Me gustan la calidad pictórica y las atmósferas misteriosas. Alguna gente dice que mis obras les recuerdan a pinturas de Giger y Beksinski. Adoro las obras de esos grandes artistas; para mi resultan muy inspiradoras. No me atrevo a comparar lo que yo hago con sus obras, pero si alguien menciona a esos artistas en conexión con mi obra, es muy gratificante.»

Tomasz Strzałkowski is a Polish digital artist born in 1975. The main set he uses is Zbrush, Photoshop and Maya. He works also with some other programs, such as xNormal.
«I've always wanted to make my works interesting in some way, with their own climate. I try to make something little different than generally perceived 3D. I like painterly quality and mysterious atmosphere. Some people say that my works remind them paitings of Giger and Beksinski. I love works of these two great artists, they are very inspiring for me. I don't dare to compare what I do to their works, but if someone mentions these artists in connection to my work, it is very uplifting.»

Gregor Collienne es un artista de la fotografía y la fotomanipulación nacido en Bélgica en 1973.
Estudió en la Escuela de Bellas Artes en Lieja.
Gregor trabaja principalmente como fotógrafo comercial de publicidad.
Sus obras demuestran una calidad técnica brillante y un notable sentido del humor.

Gregor Collienne is an artist of photography and photomanipulation born in 1973 in Belgium. He studied photography at the “Ecole des Beaux Arts” in Liege. 
Gregor works mainly as a photographer for commercial advertisement.
His works show a brilliant technical quality and a remarkable sense of humor.
