Babak Fatholahi es un fotógrafo iraní nacido en 1990 en Teherán, cuyos trabajos más destacados giran en torno al retrato. Actualmente vive y trabaja en Ucrania.
Según cuenta: «todo mi amor se concentra en el retrato porque creo que tú puedes describir el mundo entero con tan sólo una mirada...» 
«Estoy muy interesado en que mi arte resulte una herramienta para mostrar emociones puras donde se rompan las fronteras y todos puedan hablar un mismo lenguaje.»

«Paso la mayoría de mi tiempo escuchando música y mirando películas; esas son las formas de las cuales obtengo la mayor parte de mis nuevas ideas para comenzar un nuevo trabajo. Ennio Morricone es el artista que más me inspira; me da entusiasmo y motivación cuando escucho sus obras. Siempre me he deleitado con el cine italiano; mirando sus películas siento que ve el mundo desde el mismo punto de vista que yo, porque presta mucha atención como yo a las los detalles de la belleza y la pureza de los sentimientos humanos en las obras de arte.»

«Además de la fotografía, lo que más amo es la pintura, especialmente el género del retrato. Y siempre intento beneficiarme de las específicas y únicas características de las antiguas pinturas en mis obras de arte.»

Babak Fatholahi is an Iranian photographer born in 1990 in Tehran, whose work focuese on portrait. Nowadays he lives and works in Ukraine.
As he wrote: "All my love is being concentrated on portrait photographing because i believe that you can this describe the whole world by just one look...»
"I am very interested that my art would be a tool for showing the pure emotions of human where the frontiers break down and everybody can speak by own language.»

«I mostly spend my time on listening to music and watching movies; these are the ways I most get and gain my new ideas to start another art work. Ennio Morricone is the artist who inspires me the most; he gives me enthusiasm and motivation when I listen to his works. I always delighted with the art of Italian cinema; when watching their movies I feel they see the world from the point of view which I see, because they pay as much attention as I pay to the most detailed part of beauty and pure human feelings in art works.»
